Description

We’re rethinking homes for how people really live, and we’re looking for a Regional Demand Planner to join the team to help shape the future of living - one thoughtful detail at a time.

The Demand Planner sits within the wider International Markets regional team and is responsible for translating category, commercial and market insights into demand forecasts and inventory plans that support sustainable business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Beyond forecasting and inventory management, this role brings a strong commercial and category growth mindset, partnering closely with Category Planning, Marketing and Sales to identify growth opportunities and inform assortment, product development, pricing and go-to-market decisions.

We are looking for someone who can go beyond explaining what demand will be, to understanding why, where the category is heading, and what actions the business should take as a result.

  • Own SKU-level demand forecasting across the active assortment on a rolling 9 to 12-month basis, incorporating sales trends, seasonality, marketing activity, product launches, pricing and inventory availability, with forecast accuracy as a key measure of success.
  • Review category and SKU performance, including sales velocity, inventory health and availability, to identify growth opportunities, emerging risks and shifts in customer demand, drawing on sales data, customer feedback, market trends and competitor benchmarks to recommend actions.
  • Partner closely with Category Planning to shape seasonal product development and assortment strategy, including range expansion, new product opportunities, product lifecycle management and discontinuation decisions.
  • Develop forecasts and commercial assumptions for new product launches, partner with Category Planning, Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Sales on go-to-market plans and track post-launch performance against targets to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Review SKU and category pricing performance, competitor benchmarks and customer response to identify pricing opportunities and support pricing recommendations.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to understand upcoming campaigns, promotional activity and commercial priorities, incorporating these into forecasts and identifying opportunities to accelerate demand.
  • Lead demand inputs during the monthly S&OP process, highlighting risks and opportunities across sales, inventory and availability and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement and Buying teams to manage inventory flow and clearance strategies, while maintaining appropriate stock availability against expected demand.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and relevant stakeholders to continuously improve forecasting methodologies, reporting and forecast accuracy.

What You'll Need:

  • 2–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning, Category Planning or another analytically driven commercial role within retail, ecommerce or a consumer business.
  • Strong commercial instincts and numerical aptitude, with the ability to translate sales, inventory, customer and market insights into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong category mindset, with a good understanding of assortment planning, product lifecycle management, new product launches, pricing and promotional planning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with confidence navigating complex datasets and working across sales, margin, inventory and pricing metrics.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and communicate a clear point of view across cross-functional teams.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with forecasting, BI or planning tools is advantageous.
  • Furniture, homewares or other considered-purchase retail experience is advantageous.

Additional Details:

  • Based in Singapore, reporting to the Head of E-Commerce.
