JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The College/Unit of Student Engagement is seeking applicants for part-time opening of the Office of Student Engagement Student Worker.
The Office of Student Engagement within the Division of Student Affairs invites applications for an undergraduate student part-time for the following roles within the office. (10-15hrs/week, $15.00/hr.) hourly job.
Job Duties:
Student Engagement Events:
This student provides support and leadership organizing and implementing co-curricular opportunities for our diverse student community such as Welcome Week, Fall Fest, Spring Fling, Nittany Excellence Gala, De-Stress Fest, Leadership Symposium & NSO among other events.
Student Engagement daytime front desk support
Posting flyers, lost & found, answering phones, greeting guests and living room game & equipment sign-out.
Student Engagement Evening activities monitor when necessary.
This student provides evening support in the SEC living room and monitor game & equipment.
Other duties as assigned are based on the needs of our evolving office responsibilities.
Requirements and Qualifications
The successful candidate must be a current/incoming Penn State Harrisburg and be in good disciplinary standing with the University.
The candidate should be a team player, self-starter who demonstrates preemptive thinking, pays extreme attention to detail, has excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), exhibits strong organizational skills, and possesses a proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel and management of social media platforms.
