Job Summary: The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the revenue cycle to ensure accurate billing, timely reimbursement, and compliance with applicable regulations. This role leads revenue cycle operations from charge capture through payment posting and collections, analyzes performance metrics, and implements process improvements to optimize financial outcomes.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises revenue cycle staff and/or team leads and is responsible for hiring, training, coaching, performance management, disciplinary actions, and providing leadership, guidance, and ongoing development to team members.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between RCM and internal departments.
- Support system planning, UAT, implementations, and integrations for new business and M&A activities.
- Assist with SOPs, SLAs, policies, and training development.
- Drive revenue optimization through data analysis and process improvement.
- Facilitate meetings and communicate updates with key stakeholders.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management and lifecycle of a claim
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Process-oriented problem solver with analytical skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and payer policies..
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of RCM experience.
- Athena and NextGen experience preferred.

- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
- Manual dexterity required for operating office equipment (e.g., computers, phones, fax machines).

- Ability to move around the office to access files, office machinery, and other equipment.
