Description
DIB Automotive Group is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Outside Business Development Representative to expand our commercial and fleet customer base throughout the Houston area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, meeting business owners, and developing long-term partnerships.
You will represent one of Houston’s fastest-growing automotive service organizations by introducing businesses to our maintenance programs, repair services, and fleet solutions while helping companies reduce vehicle downtime and operating costs.
What You’ll Do
- Generate new commercial and fleet business through networking, prospecting, cold calls, referrals, and in-person visits.
- Build relationships with fleet managers, business owners, dealerships, municipalities, and other commercial clients.
- Present customized maintenance and repair solutions based on each customer’s vehicle needs.
- Promote our complete range of automotive services, including preventive maintenance, diagnostics, brakes, suspension, engine repair, transmission service, A/C repair, and more.
- Schedule and conduct customer meetings, facility visits, and presentations.
- Prepare service proposals and negotiate fleet agreements while maintaining profitable relationships.
- Work closely with our service advisors and management team to ensure a smooth customer experience from first contact through ongoing account management.
- Follow up with existing customers to strengthen relationships and identify additional opportunities.
- Stay informed on local market trends, competitors, and commercial fleet opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in outside sales, fleet sales, automotive sales, or business development.
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair services is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong closing, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage territory and prioritize opportunities independently.
- Organized, dependable, and results-oriented.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Compensation
- Commission plus monthly bonus opportunities

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales, fleet sales, or automotive industry experience
- Fluent in English
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
