Description
All About Basin
Basin is a small but rapidly growing retail company with two stores in Florida, partnership locations, and an e-commerce site. We aim to provide our customers with an innovative and exciting bath and body retail experience. Basin is committed to providing ethical products to its customers and is opposed to animal testing and harmful chemicals (such as parabens, mineral oil, etc.).
All About the Role
Store Managers (SMs) are the in-store ambassadors for Basin. You will lead your team to measurable success and consistent growth across sales, talent management, and general store operations. You'll set the pace by preparing your Guest Experience Managers (GEMs) and Coaches—the leaders who support and develop the store team—for monthly, weekly, and daily goals.
You will oversee all retail store functions, including scheduling, inventory management, employee relations, training, and hiring. You'll serve as the store's liaison to corporate leadership through the Store Operations Team, speaking confidently to your location's behaviors, performance, and results. Each quarter, you'll create a vision and goals for the team to execute, and you'll educate and hold your GEMs, Coaches, and Team Members accountable to the expectations of their roles. This role is for our brand-new location at Disney's Boardwalk Hotel. Because this is a new opening, initial training may take place at our other Walt Disney World locations.
What You'll Do
- Engage, motivate, and encourage staff to do their best work.
- Create a strategic plan for each shift to accomplish daily tasks and store goals.
- Ensure the store is safe and secure at all times.
- Partner with the management team to communicate and uphold company standards.
- Ensure daily cash tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Lead the resolution of customer service, vendor, and maintenance issues.
- Model exceptional customer interactions through product demonstrations and consultations.
- Train sales staff on Basin product knowledge.
- Maintain store inventory, presentation, and cleanliness, including preparing products for final display.
- Assist customers through the checkout process.
- Lead employee lifecycle decisions, from hiring through development and performance.
- Work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
If you feel like you are a good fit, please take the opportunity to apply!
