The Architecture and Cloud Excellence (ACE) Team drives all lifecycle processes and systems anchored on delivering the best customer and partner experience. From Market-to-Lead and Lead-to-Opportunity to Renew-to-Booking and Support-to-Advocacy, we build the platforms that power Cisco’s business. We are responsible for provisioning infrastructure, configuring hardware and software, maintaining security posture, and supervising the underlying infrastructure across both private cloud (ELK, Kafka, MongoDB, etc.) and public clouds (AWS/GCP).
 

Your Impact

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in handling our public and private cloud environments. You will have a wide-ranging impact by designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud applications and automating infrastructure. You will work closely with architects to implement technical efforts, including large-scale data processing and advanced analytics. This role is ideal for a technical engineer who is passionate about cloud-native technologies, containerization, and driving operational excellence in an agile environment.

• Design, build, and deploy AWS applications, including large-scale data processing and advanced analytics solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle for public and private cloud solutions, including planning, requirements, development, and quality assurance.
• Solve technical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to ensure system reliability.
• Educate and mentor teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives and provide technical training.
• Collaborate with global teams to address complex challenges across diverse cloud architectures.
   

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Mathematics.
• 4–8 years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms.
• Proficiency with public cloud providers (AWS) and private cloud technologies (OpenStack, VMware).
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) and container management systems (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the five pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Knowledge of cloud networking principles, virtual networks, and cloud security protocols (IAM, security groups, encryption).
• Knowledge of Salesforce API and Salesforce Architecture.
• AWS Practitioner certification or other relevant industry certifications.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple time zones.
