Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor screening, directions, and documentation of incidents and daily activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
