The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from:

• Orange, CT: $148,160 - $185,200
• Boston, MA: $154,880 - $193,600

 

Job Summary

The Sr Manager – Change MGMT & Testing is responsible for leading organizational change, business readiness, and stakeholder adoption activities supporting the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. This role serves as the primary liaison between the project team and business stakeholders, ensuring impacted employees are prepared for new processes, systems, roles, and ways of working. The position develops and executes change management strategies, communications, training, and adoption plans while coordinating business User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to validate that the solution meets business requirements. The role partners closely with business leaders, process owners, project teams, and implementation partners to drive successful adoption and realization of transformation objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the organizational change management strategy for the SAP S/4HANA transformation program, ensuring stakeholder readiness and adoption across impacted business functions.
• Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and organizational readiness evaluations to identify change impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans that clearly articulate project objectives, benefits, timelines, and business impacts.
• Partner with business leaders, process owners, and project teams to establish change champion networks and drive engagement throughout the transformation lifecycle.
• Design and oversee training strategies, learning materials, and end-user enablement programs to support successful adoption of new SAP S/4HANA processes and capabilities.
• Monitor adoption, readiness, and change effectiveness metrics, providing regular updates and recommendations to program leadership.
• Lead business readiness activities, ensuring operational, procedural, and organizational preparedness prior to deployment.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including planning, business participation, defect management, execution oversight, and signoff processes.
• Work with business stakeholders and process owners to define acceptance criteria and ensure test scenarios align with future-state business processes.
• Facilitate issue resolution and decision-making during testing and deployment activities to minimize business disruption.
• Collaborate with implementation partners, IT teams, and business representatives to ensure successful transition from the current SAP ECC/on-premise environment to SAP S/4HANA.
• Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder support, and issue escalation processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and governance requirements throughout change and testing activities.
• Continuously improve change management, training, adoption, and UAT practices leveraging lessons learned and industry best practices.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to project teams and business stakeholders on change management and user adoption principles.

 

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field and 10+ years of experience in business testing and change management in a customer experience and digital solution environment.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering successful testing and change management activities.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex testing and change management initiatives.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proven team player with ability to build team working relationships.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Good leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with one or more Diagramming Tools, e.g., Microsoft Visio, Sparx EA, Draw.io.
• Management of external staff, desirable.
• Experience in the utility industry is a plus.
