Manager, Data Transformation

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director BI & GTM (Business Intelligence and Go to Market), the Data Transformation Manager will help define & evolve commercial reporting needs, ensuring enterprise-wide standardization & adoption of BI tools, supporting automation of data, and development of PowerBI dashboards / visualizations to replace offline pulls. Acting as the bridge between the IT team and the commercial organization, they will drive the data and BI roadmap while overseeing data loading and integrity for day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Development of Commercial Reporting

• Ensure the Business Intelligence team is the single point of contact and governance regarding data sources and guidance towards metrics and templates for business/commercial reporting
• Design and create insightful and user-friendly dashboards and reports for key stakeholders
• Oversee the design, development, and publication of key performance indicators in Power BI for stakeholders across the Sales and Marketing functions.
• Develop business requirements for new initiatives and enhancements that support the long-term data strategy and BI roadmap          

Data Stewardship

• Lead day-to-day data ingestion processes to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable reporting for business users
• Define and establish processes for data integrity to ensure accurate and efficient data models
• Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and solve data discrepancies that may impact the rest of the business
• Own relationship with external data providers including overseeing overall data budget and contract negotiations      
• Modelling / Advanced Analytics
• Develop and implement forecasting models to predict sales trends, market demand, and other relevant business metrics.
• Provide accurate and timely forecasts to support inventory management and resource allocation   

Adoption and Change Management

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to integrate intelligence into overall business strategies
• Act as Subject matter expert for Business Intelligence and promote data-driven culture through training and education

Leadership

• Develop and coach a team of two to become future business intelligence leaders    

Qualifications:

• University Degree
• 6-8 years of related business and managerial experience
• Ability to interpret data and insights from multiple sources to provide a holistic perspective
• Experience leading team and developing talent
• Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Very strong analytical skills
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel & PowerPoint) and Power BI
• Excel and Power BI Power User
• Working knowledge of syndicated data platforms : Nielsen, Dunnhumby, IRI, Precim
• Knowledge in Pyhton / Dax / or other coding plateform
• Knowledge of CRM plateform (Salesforces prefered)

Compensation: Budgeted Range – $97,301.00 - $133,789.00 The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
