If so, Guardian is seeking a Sales Analyst, Premier Market to support our Premier Market Group Benefits Sales team.

 

As a Sales Analyst, you will serve as a critical partner to Sales Representatives and Client Management teams, managing the RFP process, supporting quote development, collaborating with underwriting on pricing strategies, and helping drive successful new business outcomes. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, profitability, and client satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.

You Have

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of experience in group insurance, employee benefits, sales support, underwriting support, account management, or a related field
• Knowledge of group insurance products and services
• Understanding of underwriting principles and rating concepts
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience processing Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
• Experience supporting field sales organizations
• Salesforce experience
• Knowledge of group benefits products including dental, disability, life, and worksite benefits
• Experience collaborating with underwriting, brokers, or producer organizations

 

You Will

• Manage RFP inventory, quote development, and new business submission processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of competitive proposals.
• Partner with Sales Representatives, Underwriting, Rating, Client Management, and Onboarding teams to develop winning sales strategies and drive business growth.
• Analyze proposal data and recommend competitive benefit and pricing options that align with customer needs and Guardian profitability objectives.
• Build strong relationships with brokers, producers, and internal stakeholders while serving as the primary point of coordination throughout the sales process.
• Monitor proposal competitiveness, conduct quote follow-up activities, gather market intelligence, and support successful case implementation and onboarding transitions.

 

Reporting Relationships

As our Sales Analyst, you will report to the Sales Support Manager, who reports to the Group Benefits Sales Leadership Team.

 

Location

The preferred location for this position is Newport Beach, CA or within the Pacific Northwest market, including Seattle, Spokane, Denver, San Francisco, and surrounding areas.

This position follows a hybrid work arrangement, working from a local office approximately one day per week for those in close proximity to a hub.   Will consider remote for qualified candidates.

 

Salary Range:

$59,120.00 - $88,677.50

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
