At DHI, we’ve built a workplace where great people do meaningful work. This is the place to be, and we want you here with us.
You Belong Here:
Join a mission-driven company that puts its people first. We’re a collaborative, supportive team that lives by our “One Team” value – working together and winning together. Voted as a certified Great Place to Work®, our team members feel their opinions count and are cared for by DHI. 92% of employees say DHI is a Great Place to Work – 35% higher than the average U.S. company. We’ve built a culture grounded in collaboration, growth, and giving back through volunteering and employee resource groups. Come be part of something worth showing up for!
About the team:
As part of our Point Solutions Group (PSG) team, you’ll help run the administrative, financial, and reporting backbone that keeps PSG’s federal contracts compliant and audit-ready. You’ll work daily in SharePoint, Excel, and PSG’s timesheet and payroll platforms, partnering closely with the Engagement Manager, Finance, and DHI Legal. Your work behind the scenes lets PSG’s client-facing teams stay focused on customers while the business runs accurately and on time.
About the role:
As an Operations Administrator, you’ll own employee administration, finance administration, contracts administration, and reporting for PSG, while also providing part-time contracts-review and FAR/SCA compliance support to PSG’s legal team.
Why we’re hiring for this role:
This role is what lets PSG’s growth outpace its back-office headcount: you’ll keep timesheets, billing, and contract files accurate and audit-ready, and give Legal a reliable first pass on routine contract documents without adding headcount.
Once hired, you will:
- Learn PSG’s timesheet, PTO, and onboarding and offboarding processes, and start monitoring submissions and approvals for full contract compliance
- Get up to speed on the invoice and monthly billing cycle, and begin supporting Finance with client billing questions
- Organize and audit client contract files in SharePoint, making sure documentation is current and complete
- Start tracking certifications, purchase orders, and contract funding so nothing lapses without notice
As you progress in the role, you will:
- Proactively manage contract funding, issuing Limitation of Funds notices and tracking option year exercise windows ahead of deadlines
- Process annual rate escalations and labor category updates, and review contract modifications for accuracy before execution
- Take on part-time contracts-review support for PSG’s legal team, reviewing subcontracts, RFP terms, and Master Service Agreements for risk items and non-standard terms
- Support FAR clause compliance, with a focus on Service Contract Act wage determinations, health and welfare rates, and required notices
- Build toward program-level ownership, positioning yourself as a strong internal candidate for an Engagement Manager, Program Manager, or Contracts/Compliance Administrator role as PSG grows
What you bring to the team:
Keep language simple and concise. Don’t add requirements that can be taught or trained. This section can include both technical and soft skills.
Required:
- Three or more years of experience in an HR, payroll, operations, or business administration support role
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing, timesheet compliance, or new hire administration, such as onboarding paperwork, I-9/E-Verify, or tax documentation
- Experience reconciling data across multiple systems, such as payroll/HRIS, VMS, or ERP, with a sharp eye for accuracy
- Comfort reviewing routine contract documents such as subcontracts, modifications, RFP terms, and MSAs for completeness, and flagging issues for attorney review
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SharePoint
Preferred:
- Experience supporting a large, distributed workforce (300 or more employees or contractors) with HR administrative processes
- Prior experience in a government contracting or federal services environment
- Familiarity with funding mechanisms common to government contracts, such as Limitation of Funds notices, option years, and purchase order tracking
- Working knowledge of FAR clauses for services contracts, particularly the Service Contract Act
- Experience reviewing, redlining, or processing contract modifications, subcontracts, or MSAs
