Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

Remote Position, Hybrid Available Depending on Location

Embark Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Contract Relations Administrator to support our mission of helping adolescents and their families access high-quality behavioral health services.

In this role, you'll manage, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts across the organization. You'll help ensure agreements meet legal and compliance requirements, reduce risk, and support business needs. You'll also maintain contract records and standard operating procedures, serving as a key resource for teams involved in the contracting process.

By supporting strong provider and payer relationships, you'll play an important role in helping families access the care they need when they need it most.

Responsibilities

Contract Development & Compliance

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with payers, vendors, and community partners.
  • Ensure contracts meet legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Support new funding agreements and contract-related business initiatives.
  • Identify risks and recommend solutions to support compliance and organizational goals.

Contract Maintenance & Oversight

  • Maintain organized digital contract records and documentation.
  • Manage contract renewals and monitor key contract requirements.
  • Serve as a primary contact for funding agencies, school districts, Medicaid programs, and other partners.
  • Partner with internal teams to support compliance, audits, and operational needs.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain and update contract procedures, policies, and SOPs.
  • Track and document contract activity, outcomes, and funding opportunities.
  • Serve as an internal resource for contract-related questions and guidance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting in Salesforce and other systems.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum age 21
  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in contractual negotiations, procurement, and an understanding of legal requirements involved with contracts.
  • Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and BestNotes preferred.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills and extraordinary attention to detail a MUST
  • Prior experience working with Medicaid contracts or Special Education IEPs a plus
