Position Description
The Associate Brand Manager – Merchandising (THD) leads the execution of national off-shelf, in-run and seasonal merchandising programs for The Home Depot. This role drives brand growth, visibility and conversion through best-in-class merchandising and impactful retail storytelling that connects innovation to the end user. The position requires strong executional ownership, vendor coordination and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure all retail activations deliver a consistent
What You Will Do
- Lead the planning and execution of off-shelf, in-run, promotional and seasonal merchandising programs that drive awareness, engagement and sales at The Home Depot.
- Own the development and continuous improvement of merchandising assets and messaging frameworks that highlight product innovation, key user benefits and Milwaukee’s brand story across all retail touchpoints.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Channel, and Creative teams to align program timing and priorities with launch schedules, category strategies and brand standards.
- Work with The Home Depot’s marketing and merchandising teams and third-party agencies to develop integrated storytelling and activation plans that amplify Milwaukee’s presence in-store, online and in promotional campaigns.
- Analyze sell-through performance and shopper insights to measure ROI and identify opportunities to optimize merchandising impact and drive category growth.
- Coordinate with approved vendors to manage prototypes, proofs, production quality and delivery timelines to ensure cost efficiency, accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
- Drive seamless end-to-end execution, including asset routing, proofing, production and distribution, ensuring flawless delivery and alignment with sales field execution.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying new materials, design innovations and process efficiencies that elevate Milwaukee’s retail experience.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 4 - 6 years of experience in brand marketing or retail merchandising, preferably within consumer goods or power tools.
- Demonstrated success owning a major retail account or channel merchandising program from strategy to execution.
- Proven ability to manage and negotiate with multiple vendors simultaneously, balancing quality, cost and timelines to meet business goals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and shopper data to improve retail performance.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and lead complex projects independently.
- Excellent communication, organization and vendor management skills.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook), with strong presentation and data analysis skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage timelines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
