The Manager – Quality Assurance will lead global product safety, compliance, and quality control operations; oversee compliance across key worldwide markets (US, EU, and Asia) for diverse product categories; and act as the primary technical contact for key global clients. Additionally, the manager will standardize inspection protocols, embed QA standards early in the product lifecycle, and manage factory-level systems to safeguard brand reputation.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Manager – Quality Assurance to join us!

Here is what you need to know about this role:

• Global Compliance & Regulatory Leadership

  • Direct Market Compliance: Direct product safety and chemical compliance across US, EU, and Asia markets (REACH, EN 71, CPSIA, Prop 65).

  • Emerging Regulations: Implement protocols for new international regulations (e.g., EUTR/EUDR timber compliance) with factories and clients.

• Account Management & Technical Leadership

  • Primary Technical Contact: Manage client-specific quality mandates as the primary technical liaison for key global accounts.

  • Inspection & Project Reviews: Lead weekly quality reviews for all upcoming product inspections.

• QC Standardization & Factory Quality Systems

  • Protocol Standardization: Design and deploy standardized product inspection protocols across all operating countries.

  • Factory Quality Management Plans (QMP): Enforce factory-level QMPs and early production control points from inception.

• Early-Stage QA & Problem Solving

  • Design & Sample Reviews: Evaluate early designs and sample prototypes to provide risk feedback prior to mass production.

  • Production Problem-Solving: Drive immediate troubleshooting and technical conflict resolution for active production issues.

  • Complaint Investigation & Recalls: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on customer complaints and manage product call-outs or recalls.

You might be a good fit if you have/are …

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive QA/QC experience in consumer goods, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or team leadership role.

• Solid technical expertise across home accessories and electrical or battery-driven products.

• Comprehensive working knowledge of European product safety and chemical compliance standards (e.g., EU REACH, EN 71, CPSIA, Prop 65, EUTR/EUDR).

• Proven experience in early-stage pre-development QA, including product risk assessments, prototype/sample evaluations, patent checks, and factory QMPs.

• Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), active production troubleshooting, and customer complaint/recall management.

• Excellent cross-border communication skills to collaborate effectively with merchandising teams, factory vendors, and overseas regional QC staff.
