We are a boutique immigration law firm seeking a motivated, organized, and personable Bilingual Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will provide administrative support to attorneys and staff while serving as one of the first points of contact for prospective and existing clients. Your professionalism, communication skills, and attention to detail will ensure our office operates efficiently and that every client receives exceptional service. The right candidate will have experience handling a high volume of phone calls and administrative tasks, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask and take direction.
What You'll Do
- Greet clients and serve as a welcoming first point of contact;
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls;
- Respond professionally to client inquiries by phone, email, and text;
- Schedule consultations, appointments, and meetings;
- Process client payments;
- Scanning, copying, and filing
- Process incoming and outgoing mail;
- Add and update client information in case management system;
- Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff; and
- Additional administrative duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- High school degree or equivalent experience;
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish OR French a must;
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills;
- Proficient with Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, and ease in picking up new technology/platforms
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities;
- Dependable, proactive, and resourceful
- Willingness to ask questions, learn new skills, and take on additional responsibilities
- Prior experience working for a law firm or not-for-profit that handles immigration matters is a plus.
What We Offer
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, paid time off, etc;
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift
