We are searching for the best talent for the Medical Manager Immunology - Tremfya to be in Mexico City, Mexico
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Lead scientific discussions with key internal and external stakeholders / influencers (e.g., KOLs, Medical societies, etc.) focusing on changing medical behavior through the exchange of scientific knowledge and conveying the value of the attributes related to the innovation.
• Lead the sharing of scientific knowledge to internal stakeholders e.g., through provision of training to help to ensure highest standards of brand/therapy expertise in customer facing teams.
• Provide insights around key brand, marketplace themes/trends and competitors.
• Decision making on current and future license indications and enable internal and external customers to make informed decisions. • Increase the customers understanding of Janssen products and compliance.
• Point of contact for investigators proposing investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and manage such studies in collaboration with GCO- MAO
• Janssen speaker externally for specific forums where MAF can add important value to the discussions.
• Scientific Support communications dept with patient advocacy groups and their initiatives e.g., responding to clinical interest, gathering insights.
• Develop KOL’s strategic mapping and engagement.
• Co-lead with the Market Access department the guidelines and endorsement strategy, identifying local gaps and regional gaps to involve the correct MAF Stakeholders
• Work in collaboration with MAF Regional Leader for PI and site selection and engagement strategy (resolve issues with enrolled sites, and participate in meetings as appropriate, including site initiation visits and investigator launch meetings) aligned with TA head/Senior medical manager.
• Provide real time coaching for MSL team to support the development of scientific and soft skills when applicable.
• Contributes to regional IEGP process providing data generation gaps for Key inline and pipeline less than 24 months product when TA head is not available.
• Collaborate with RA, PV, PSP for key processes as Risk management plans, etc.
• Leads, mentors, and develops a group of MSLs/medical field force in shaping the HCP Communities in medical behavior changes in order to drive the best treatment decisions for patients, focused on key in line pos launch and Janssen pipeline products.
• Deep understanding of the local medical practice and product strategy, including opportunities, main KOLs, connecting with the business and medical strategy
• Ensures MSL team is accountable for the execution of the field Medical Sciences Plan and provides field insights to inform business strategy.
• Facilitates scientific and skill training, as well as mentoring and coaching to support professional development.
• Supports customer insight collection and communicates field insights and actionable items to leadership and other internal partners, as appropriate.
• Implementation of policies for MSLs, seeking to standardize activities and processes to minimize operational, strategic, and corporate responsibility risks.
• Establishment of auditable standards and metrics on the function of the MSLs • Continuous evaluation of the market, to understand the current trends of the external MSLs and in this way, provide guidance, ensuring that Janssen innovates continuously.
Qualifications:
Therapeutic area scientific knowledge and skills to interpret scientific data.
Experience as Medical Manager and Immunology expertise is highly desired
Experience in people management is required
6 - 8 Years Work Experience Communication and presentation skills
Business acumen
Teamwork, leadership, negotiation, coaching and influencing skills – able to work effectively in a matrix.
