We are seeking motivated Production Workers and Soil Sort Workers to join our dynamic team. Now Hiring: Production Worker & Soil Sort Worker
Location: 1080 Post and Paddock Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75050
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week
We are currently seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team in one of the following positions:
Production Worker
Production Workers process and prepare hospital linens for delivery according to customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously grasp, sort, and grade clean textiles
- Feed and operate garment press machinery
- Sort and fold linens for final finishing
- Fold textiles by hand or feed them into ironers and folding machines
- Manually feed laundry into machinery
- Pack sanitized hospital linens according to customer specifications
- Retrieve cleaned and dried linens and load them into carts
- Perform job rotation as required
- Meet production standards and hourly productivity goals
Soil Sort Worker
Soil Sort Workers are responsible for sorting incoming soiled laundry in preparation for the laundering process. Team members work at assigned stations and may occasionally work on elevated platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Open bags containing soiled linen
- Push and pull carts from adjoining sorting areas
- Position carts on scales and verify bag weights
- Add or remove linens to adjust bag weight as needed
- Move carts to hoist loading areas
- Attach bag straps to overhead hoists
- Sort linen by hand and separate by type
- Place linens into designated bins
- Monitor equipment and clear jams when necessary
- Perform job rotation as required
Qualifications for Both Positions
- High school-level reading, writing, math, and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work day or night shifts based on production needs
- Available for overtime, extended hours, and weekend work (Saturday and Sunday)
- Ability to meet production and safety standards
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, reach overhead, push, pull, and grasp throughout the shift
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis
- Ability to move rolling carts weighing up to and exceeding 250 pounds
- Ability to perform physical duties for the entire shift
