Description

At Ayvens, progress starts with you.

Our ambitions to shape the future of sustainable mobility are powered by our talent. Join us, and get better with every move.

At Ayvens we have an opening for a Privacy Officer

What are you going to do?

As our new Privacy Officer, you will play a key role in safeguarding Ayvens' integrity and reputation by ensuring privacy and data protection principles are fully embedded in daily business activities across the organization. You will support the implementation of privacy frameworks, advise stakeholders on privacy risks and regulatory requirements, and promote a strong privacy culture across the Ayvens Group. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws, internal policies, and privacy-by-design principles in a dynamic international environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, promoting and explaining privacy-related policies, procedures and standards across the organization.
  • Ensuring consistent implementation and adherence to Ayvens' Privacy Policies and data protection framework.
  • Creating awareness and fostering a strong privacy culture among management and employees through training and communication initiatives.
  • Monitoring privacy risks, assessing the effectiveness of controls, and providing reporting on privacy compliance matters.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to management by identifying privacy risks and recommending appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Advising business stakeholders on privacy compliance requirements, including Privacy by Design principles for products, services, projects, ICT systems, platforms and applications.
  • Monitoring developments, trends and regulatory changes in the privacy landscape, ensuring Ayvens remains compliant with applicable global data protection laws, including GDPR.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate combines strong privacy and data protection expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You are able to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business solutions while supporting the organization in maintaining a robust privacy framework across multiple jurisdictions.

You will have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably holding a University degree in Law, Information Management, Business Administration, Compliance, Data Protection or a related field.

  • 1-5 years of professional experience in privacy, data protection, compliance or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of EU Data Protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • IAPP certification (or a similar privacy qualification) is considered a strong advantage.
  • Sound understanding of privacy frameworks and, preferably, experience within an international and regulated business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand, assess and explain complex privacy-related matters.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Positive, proactive and collaborative mindset with a strong sense of accountability and teamwork.
  • Fluent in English is required
