Description
The purpose of this class is to perform an advanced level of administrative duties for the coordination of Continuing Education’s Apprenticeship Partnerships for Skilled Trades, with a focus on scheduling, documentation, compliance, and collaborating with adjunct faculty.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Three (3) years of experience coordinating/supporting projects/programs and related administrative duties required. Experience coordinating/supporting training programs in a higher education setting preferred. Work experience with work-based learning programs preferred.
This position requires travel to Dundalk & Catonsville campuses
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate Apprenticeship Partnerships for Skilled Trades for the College.
- Develop relationships with employers to understand local workforce needs to develop programming .
- Manage assigned Apprenticeship Partnerships for Skilled Trades processes with existing and potential training customers
- Develop new courses and course series (including meeting accreditation and/or certification standards).
- Recruit, select, train and work closely with adjunct faculty and instructors.
- Manage program resources efficiently and economically
- Identify access and analyze program data in the college’s enterprise system
- Provide superior customer service and solutions to problems for customers, students and adjunct faculty.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Represent and promote the college at professional and business events.
