Location:
Hollywood, FloridaMemorial Rehabilitation Institute provides highly specialized care ranging from complex multiple trauma, stroke and brain injury to physical and speech therapy. Inpatient care is offered at Memorial Regional Hospital South, with outpatient care available in five different locations. We also have a home health team and resources for long-term care at Memorial Manor, while also offering therapy for pediatric developmental diagnosis through Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
Summary:
Develops and provides services related to the orientation, continuing education, training, and assessment of clinical staff providing rehabilitative services.Responsibilities:
Assists with staffing and oversight of operations.Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.Participates in the development, coordination, and delivery of new staff orientation and education activities.Collaborates with managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competencies of staff.Designs, delivers, and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, clinical equipment, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies.Serves as a consultant/mentor for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.Serves as a resource and mentor to all therapists on or applying to the clinical ladder.Responsible for oversight and operation of student program for all rehab disciplines.Competencies:

Required Work Experience: Two (2) years experience as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist.
