This position supports a large-scale facility restructuring program made up of multiple interdependent sub-projects, requiring precise execution and close coordination across industrial engineering, manufacturing, facilities, procurement, and operations.

## Key Responsibilities

  • Perform methods engineering analysis, including process design, time and motion studies, work measurement, and recommendations for manufacturing line improvements.
  • Lead industrial engineering projects and programs within assigned areas of responsibility, supporting implementation through quality tools, process controls, and operational readiness activities.
  • Prepare cost analysis, business cases, and return-on-investment calculations to support project selection, prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing facility layouts, material handling systems, material staging strategies, warehouse design concepts, and space optimization solutions.
  • Support facilities and facility-related projects by coordinating layout changes, infrastructure readiness, space planning, equipment and material procurement, operational requirements, and cross-functional implementation activities.
  • Calculate, maintain, and analyze capacity data for materials processing, labor, space, equipment, and production processes to support effective asset utilization.
  • Provide guidance to manufacturing and operations teams on efficient use of resources, production processes, and facility constraints.
  • Lead ergonomics and human factors evaluations, recommend improvements, and support implementation of safer and more efficient work area designs.
  • Support strategic product introductions into volume manufacturing by delivering manufacturing line design, process readiness, tooling development, and specialized fixture deployment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, manufacturing, procurement, facilities, and cross-functional teams to develop specialized solutions that improve factory flow, material movement, and production execution.
  • Establish standards, procedures, and best practices across multiple functions to improve consistency, quality, and operational performance.

## Technical Project/Program Management Responsibilities

  • Prepare project plans and coordinate attainment of project deliverables from planning through implementation.
  • Drive project execution through reports, tracking charts, checklists, action item management, and milestone reviews.
  • Align internal business unit resources and cross-functional stakeholders across manufacturing, facilities, procurement, and operations to achieve project objectives on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report project cost performance, risks, status, dependencies, and key issues to business unit leadership and stakeholders.
  • Participate in intra-business unit design teams and contribute to technical development in support of project goals.
  • Identify project obstacles, research root causes, evaluate alternatives, and assist in implementing corrective actions and sustainable solutions.
  • Apply structured project management practices, including schedule management, risk management, stakeholder management, communication planning, and change management.
  • Build alignment across teams by balancing data, business priorities, technical requirements, and stakeholder input to reach effective conclusions.
  • Develop clear executive-level communications, including project updates, risks, decisions needed, and business impact summaries for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

## Skills and Competencies
