Baptist Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo/Vascular Sonographer III to join our supportive team serving patients in both Talladega and Jasper, Alabama. In this role, you will perform high-quality echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies while working alongside physicians and a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to exceptional patient care. Based on the attached job description and hiring details provided, this position performs diagnostic cardiology and vascular sonographic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

- Coverage Area: Talladega and Jasper, AL
Schedule
- Monday through Friday - Only 1-2 days per week
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound studies
- Obtain and document accurate patient histories and clinical information
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Recognize normal and abnormal cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
Qualifications
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Sonography program
- BLS/Healthcare Provider Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience
- Ability to perform both Echo and Vascular studies
- Knowledge of ultrasound equipment operation and maintenance
Preferred
- ARDMS or CCI registry credentials
Registry Eligibility
Candidates do not need to be registered at the time of hire; however, they must be registry eligible and obtain the appropriate registry credential within 6 months of employment.
