Our Bethlehem facility is growing, and we are looking for a Buyer to join our team!
This role is responsible for the execution of procurement operations. Under general direction, executes the purchasing of materials, supplies and services - including higher-dollar and more complex transactions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and company policies.
Location: Bethlehem, PA (on-site)
Salary: $55,000 - $80,0000

Your Challenge
Analyze purchase requisitions and determine appropriate sourcing strategies within established guidelines.
Solicit, evaluate and negotiate quotes, pricing and delivery terms with suppliers for non-complex to moderately complex requirements.
Support supplier selection.
Conduct supplier site visits and rate them as to production capability, performance and delivery.
Monitor supplier performance, including delivery, quality and responsiveness.
Proactively address issues and escalate as needed.
Issue and administer purchase orders, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable Federal, state, and/or local regulations concerning the purchase or shipment of goods, materials or services.
Resolve invoice discrepancies, receiving issues and supplier disputes.
Maintain accurate and complete procurement records.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including manufacturing, planning, and engineering departments to ensure alignment with program schedules and requirements.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
Working knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing practices and supplier management.
Experience with ERP systems.
Basic negotiation skills and exposure to contract terms and conditions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
