Premier is unique in its quality of medical, dental, mental health, rehabilitation, and specialty care provided to people with disabilities and their families. With medical professionals and physicians affiliated with major hospitals in the New York metropolitan area, Premier has wheelchair accessible practices located in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens.
Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Assess patients to determine dental needs
Develop dental treatment plans
Provide dental care and complete treatment plans
Educate patients on preventive care, planned care, treatment, and follow-up
Make referrals on assessed needs
Participate in on-call schedule
Provide emergency care as necessary
Complete all documentation
Adhere to Medical Staff By-Laws, Rules, & Regulations
Minimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g., lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.)
Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities; or enrollment in a Dental Residency Program.
Preferred Qualification Requirements (desired requirements beyond MQRs above)
2+ years of post-residency clinical experience
Active Medicare and NYS Medicaid registration
Familiarity with the NextGen EHR
Experience with the I/DD patient population
Compensation:
$95.00 - $100.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
TBD - approximately 16 - 20 hours per week
