MedStar Women's Health is seeking qualified Women's Certified Nurse Midwife to join our regional service line. We have a need at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center in Olney, MD. Minimal QualificationsEducation
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. required
Experience
- 1-2 years 2 years of advance practice experience required
Licenses and Certifications
- NP - Nurse Practitioner - Licensed Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the District of Columbia or State of Maryland as appropriate. required and
- Certified by National Credentialing body in respective area of specialty. required and
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required and
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Requires a high level of problem solving due to the complexity of the clinical situations encountered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
