Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Hire, train, motivate, evaluate and provide direction to all EVS supervisory staff, and wardrobe.
2. Develop, implement and maintain superior standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
3. Work with the Senior Vice President of Resorts to develop and manage department budget.
4. Monitor inventory/supplies and recommend purchase of supplies.
5. Ensure the effective scheduling of all EVS and wardrobe staff to business needs.
6. Monitor and control expenses and labor in accordance to monthly, quarterly and annual department budget.
7. Approve payroll, time off requests.
8. Ensure the training of all staff.
9. Ensure that OSHA standards are met.
10. Ensure that all chemicals and equipment are organized and stored safely in properly designated areas.
11. Maintain inventory controls of all equipment, cleaning products, radios and wardrobe-related items.
12. Maintain a reasonable uniform inventory level. Responsible to establish pars to assist with timely ordering.
13. Work with department managers coordinating uniform needs.
14. Maintain organizing of wardrobe inventory room.
15. Train new employees to insure effective and efficient receiving, storage, and issuing of uniforms.
16. Ensure that MSDS information is available to all employees.
17. Research and develop recommendations for the periodic replacement/purchase of cleaning equipment.
18. Monitor and ensure the regular and proper maintenance of all equipment.
19. Monitor and maintain the documented property wide inspection program, issue and track work order repair/cleanings.
20. Maintain the documented cyclical cleaning programs.
21. Adhere to Purchasing, HR and TERO compliance requirements.
22. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
23. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
24. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
25. Attend all necessary meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
2. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
3. At least five (5) years of Environmental Services management experience in a high traffic, large facility required, overseeing a team no less than 10.
4. Must be proficient with proper use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals, including heavy cleaning equipment. Equipment knowledge and some troubleshooting ability needed to communicate repair needs to Facilities and/or vendors.

1. Must possess excellent communication skills.
2. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
3. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
4. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
5. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

7. Must possess ability to instill a sense of pride and personal responsibility in subordinate employees.

1. Adequate manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment.
2. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and may be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
3. Employee may work with cleaning chemicals, and should be able to properly dilute, use and insure their safety, as well as other who come in contact with chemicals.
4. Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
5. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
Salary Starting Rate:
$55,612.00Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
