Ready for a career glow-up? As Copywriter, you’ll be part of our Creative Team, partnering with Art Directors and Designers to conceptualize and deliver creative across Sephora Canada’s marketing activations. The work you do will impact beauty, as you develop and ideate creative for both small and large projects simultaneously, bringing a true creator’s mindset to every brief. You’ll be part of an agile, collaborative team that’s united in beauty, supported by Creatives, Marketers and Merchandisers who are equally passionate about building, elevating and delivering beautiful creative work.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, Art Directors and Designers to conceptualize original ideas, campaigns and Sephora Canada initiatives that connect with our clients.
- Bring Sephora’s brand standards and tone of voice to life through copy that builds engagement, inspires action and strengthens our connection with clients.
- Develop, adapt and build out both long- and short-form creative copy for national and localized campaigns across in-store, digital and social channels.
- Contribute across every phase of the creative process, from early concept development through to final execution.
- Partner cross-functionally with the broader Marketing team, Sephora Canada departments and Sephora US partners to deliver work that is aligned, impactful and on brand.
- Manage multiple creative projects with care, agility and strong attention to detail, balancing priorities while delivering high-quality work.
- Stay curious and connected to beauty, retail and cultural trends, using insights to help shape relevant, client-focused creative ideas.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong conceptual and executional copywriting skills, with the ability to develop brand and campaign work that creates impact and drives results.
- 2–4 years of writing experience in a brand, agency or in-house creative environment is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of tone.
- A solid understanding of marketing strategy, creative trends and best practices for writing across web, print, social and mobile channels.
- Confidence sharing creative ideas, perspectives and recommendations with cross-functional partners and larger teams.
- Familiarity with AODA standards for web and PDF accessibility.
- CPG or retail experience is an asset; experience in beauty retail is a bonus.
- A solutions-oriented mindset, with curiosity, resourcefulness and a natural drive to solve problems.
- Familiarity with Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, Basecamp and Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual French/English skills and an understanding of the Quebec market are considered an asset.

- Wealth. We’re passionate about pay equity and transparency. The compensation ranges between CAD$76,000.00 - CAD$85,000.00, plus bonus, RRSP matching.
