POSITION SUMMARY
The Landscape Maintenance Manager is responsible for scheduling and managing daily operations, supervising crews, maintaining quality standards, and identifying opportunities to expand services through client needs and property evaluations for the Steamboat Association Management Team
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Schedule and manage daily landscape maintenance operations and crew assignments.
Supervise, lead, and support landscape maintenance crews.
Train and develop employees to ensure competency, productivity, and safety.
Oversee the quality and consistency of landscape maintenance services.
Conduct property evaluations and identify maintenance needs and service opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through responsive customer service.
Communicate with clients regarding service needs, concerns, and expectations.
Monitor team performance, productivity, attendance, and completion of work.
Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of equipment, tools, and materials.
Maintain compliance with safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Troubleshoot issues in the field and adjust schedules or priorities as needed.
Coordinate multiple projects and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
Identify opportunities to expand services based on client needs and property conditions.
Maintain accurate records, schedules, and other department documentation.
Work closely with the Director of Maintenance and other departments to support overall operations.
Perform hands-on landscape maintenance duties and assist crews as needed.
Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 4 years in landscape operations in supervisor or manager role with a strong knowledge of commercial and residential landscape maintenance practices
Bilingual: Spanish and English (required)
Horticulture or arborist certifications (preferred)
Self-motivated individually and able to manage a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Able to handle pressure and manage multiple priorities
Valid driver’s license and a driving record compliant with our insurance requirements
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company’s Service Excellence standards
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat Resort hourly pay range: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be a minimum 18 years of age
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
Regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb or balance.
Frequently use hands and fingers to handle tools, equipment, and materials.
Regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs. and frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Work around moving mechanical equipment and in areas with elevated noise levels.
Occasionally work at heights and in areas with potential electrical hazards.
Maintain the visual ability to perform close-up work and adjust focus as needed.
Safely operate and work around landscape maintenance equipment and machinery.
Maintain the physical stamina necessary to perform field work and supervise crews throughout the workday.
