Job Summary:

Full-time entry-level Architectural Designer 1 will learn and train under architectural employees. Bachelor’s degree or working towards a degree is required, but no professional experience is necessary.

Direct Supervisor:

Team Project Manager and/or Project Architect

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of our product: excellent design, construction document production and coordination so that it is clearly understood by clients, governing authorities, and construction workers.
• Create 3D models using Revit, following KWA production standards.
• Assist project teams with graphic design, administrative and organizational tasks.
• Revise documents per markups by team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, retain information, and apply knowledge to projects
• Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas.
• Proficient in Revit
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Preferred experience in Enscape and/or Lumion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to learn and show potential to move to the next position in the firm.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or working towards a degree in Architecture required.
• No relevant experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
