Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Reports to: Sales Manager – Crushing Solution

Working rights: You must be able to secure valid work rights for employment in Australia.

Closing Date: Applications will close on 14 October 2026 or sooner if a suitable candidate is identified.

About the role:

We are seeking a commercially focused and customer-driven Site Account Manager to support the growth of Sandvik's Crushing and Screening product range across a defined region.

In this role, you will work closely with customer maintenance and operations teams to maximise equipment performance, reliability and productivity while identifying opportunities to grow aftermarket sales and market share. Acting as the key link between customers, regional sales teams and product specialists, you will provide technical expertise, develop strong customer relationships and deliver value-based solutions that improve operational outcomes.

The position combines technical support, business development and account management responsibilities. You will conduct equipment inspections and product trials, analyse performance data, forecast customer requirements, identify new business opportunities and provide recommendations that drive both customer success and commercial growth.

Working across multiple product lines, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and industry experts to deliver innovative solutions, support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the achievement of revenue and profitability targets.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in mining, quarrying, crushing and screening, or heavy industrial equipment who enjoys building customer relationships, solving technical challenges and driving business growth in a dynamic and safety-focused environment.

A little about you:

While we offer training and development, we are looking for someone with the following skills to ensure you are set up for success:

  • Relevant trade qualification or tertiary education in a mechanical or engineering-related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mining, quarrying, fabrication, heavy industry, or related equipment sectors.

  • Experience in a technical support, product support, sales, business development, or customer-facing role.

  • Strong understanding of maintenance practices, equipment performance, and reliability principles.

  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make sound commercial and technical decisions.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships.

  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously.

  • Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and customer recommendations.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Engineering/CAD experience, including basic AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor skills, is desirable.

  • Knowledge of crushing and screening equipment, mining processes, wear solutions, plates, ceramics, and rubber products is advantageous.

  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both local and multicultural environments.

  • Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, professionalism, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Why You’ll Love It Here:

  • Supportive and Inclusive Culture: Join a team that values collaboration, respect, and diversity.

  • Career Development: We invest in your professional growth and create opportunities to advance your career.

  • Work-life Balance:  We understand the importance of flexibility.

  • Health and Wellbeing: Access to health and wellness programs, including mental health support.

  • Leadership Support: Learn and connect with experienced professionals who are invested in your success.

  • Family-Friendly Policies: We offer paid parental leave, and other initiatives to support working parents.

  • Employee Benefit programs: including discounts program, salary sacrifice options and length of service recognition.
