Description
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
To provide support in preparing development tenders, expressions of interest and all related documents for joint venture development projects
To assist in procurement exercise including preparation of documents and papers, carrying out liaison works, recording and checking tenders submitted, etc.
To assist in maintenance and update of consultants’ lists and performance records
To provide administrative support to the team including drafting correspondence and making telephone calls to external parties, etc.
To assist in database and system development and the associated data analysis and management
To assist to perform compliance check and propose improvements to procurement and variation orders managed by other divisions/ departments, where necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree holder or above
Minimum 1 years’ relevant experience in procurement, commercial, legal, building / civil / construction, information technology or database management
Knowledge and experience in administrating tendering process and preparing/ checking tenders and contracts
Knowledge of using e-tendering or other enterprise resource planning system is an added advantage
Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing
