Systems and Data Support Specialist
Location: Remote (US)
The Systems and Data Support Specialist supports Kesef's bookkeeping business systems while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational and client data. This role serves as a resource for supporting financial reporting, data coordination, AI/automation initiatives, and system needs. This position requires strong communication skills, initiative, technical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and leadership levels while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting consistent deadlines.
What You'll Do:
Financial Operations Support
- Assist with new client onboarding activities and internal system setup.
- Set up and maintain client bank account integrations with QuickBooks Online and Kesef's secure password management system. Troubleshoot integration issues coordinating with clients and their financial institutions.
- Set-up and maintain client payroll account integrations with QuickBooks Online and Kesef’s secure password management system. Troubleshoot integration issues coordinating with clients and their payroll vendors.
- Support Payroll and Pension Department during annual set-up, peak processing times and end of year reporting.
- Troubleshoot software integration problems, working with clients, client vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Assist with set-up and maintenance of financial reporting dashboards
- Assist all areas with financial/client data related projects
General Operations Support
- Maintain Monday.com board folders and perform periodic back-up and clean-up initiatives.
- Periodic back-up of key Monday boards
- Maintain client contact list by updating in Monday CRM and newsletter mailing list software.
- Maintain Monday board for the legacy client renewal project
- Support organizational AI/automation initiatives.
- Help with workflow documentation creation and maintenance
- Assist with newsletter and other special client communications
- Retrieve membership and contract data for billing manager, as needed
- Provide operational and systems support across all departments, as needed.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial operations, business systems support, or data management.
- Experience supporting business applications, system implementations, or enterprise software.
- Experience with reporting, automation initiatives, or business intelligence solutions preferred.
- Experience providing technical support and training to end users.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Familiarity with using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, CRM systems, and cloud-based business applications preferred.
- Experience with Monday.com or similar project management platforms preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize new technologies.
Preferred:
- Experience in financial and synagogue operations.
- Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Payroll and pension experience
- Experience with data management, automation, workflow optimization, or business intelligence.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Monday.com, or similar cloud-based business systems preferred

Salary Range Disclosure
The base range represents the low and high end of the TogetherWork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of TogetherWork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.
