Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead Soliqua brand planning and execution. The ideal candidate combines 5+ years of MNC pharmaceutical marketing experience with strong data-to-insight-to-action capabilities and independent ownership of BP/OP, major projects and core marketing content. Prior consulting-firm experience is preferred; strategic recommendations must translate into compliant execution and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Data-driven insights & actionable recommendations: Mine and analyze market, sales, customer and competitive data to identify growth opportunities and performance drivers. Translate insights into prioritized recommendations for brand strategy, targeting, resource allocation and field actions, with clear owners, timelines and KPIs.
• Brand strategy & BP: Convert validated insights and healthcare professional (HCP)/patient needs into positioning, objectives, strategy and resource choices. Independently author, budget, present and refine the Brand/Business Plan.
• OP development & execution: Translate strategy into an annual Operating/Execution Plan, with quarterly/monthly actions, owners, budgets, milestones and KPIs. Track performance and spending, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Major projects & promotional activities: Lead national or cross-regional initiatives end to end, from concept, budgeting and approvals to vendor management, execution, risk mitigation and evaluation.
• Hands-on content development: Personally develop core messages, content frameworks and first drafts for brand decks, detail aids, HCP materials, FAQs, sales training and digital assets; lead evidence checks, review and iteration.
• Cross-functional delivery & compliance: Partner with Sales, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Finance and Procurement to enable field execution and manage resources. Follow Medical, Legal and Compliance review requirements and evaluate business-relevant outcomes.
Must-Have Qualifications
• 5+ years in MNC pharmaceutical marketing departments. Pure sales, medical, agency or event-management experience does not substitute for this requirement.
• End-to-end pharmaceutical commercialization and brand management. Experience must span insights, strategy, budgeting, execution, field enablement and performance review.
• Demonstrated personal ownership of BP/OP, major projects and content. Substantiate personal decisions, deliverables and results through specific examples. Authorized, anonymized work samples or simulations are acceptable.
• Strong analytical and insight-to-action capabilities. Demonstrate how analysis led to a specific recommendation, an execution decision and impact measurement; go beyond data reporting or dashboard creation.
Preferred Experience
• Consulting-firm background preferred. Prior experience in a consulting firm is an advantage. Consulting tenure does not replace the required 5+ years in MNC pharmaceutical marketing departments.
• Additional advantages: Diabetes/endocrinology or chronic-disease experience, cross-regional projects, working English and a relevant life-sciences educational background. These are preferences, not mandatory requirements.
