Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff. Remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering professional service. Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site policies, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and/or key-control records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, entryways, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and emergency responders while documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
