Lyten is leading an industrial revolution through Lyten 3D Graphene™, a breakthrough supermaterial unlocking a new generation of products — from lithium–sulfur batteries and energy storage systems to concrete admixtures, lightweight composites, and next-generation sensors that are revolutionizing industries. Together, these innovations are making a massive global improvement and driving real-world impact across energy, mobility, construction, and defense.

At Lyten, we believe the most meaningful careers begin with purpose — and with people who want to make a difference. We’re not just developing advanced supermaterials — we’re about to change the world as we know it, reshaping how energy is stored, how products are built, and how progress is made.

We’re entering an exciting growth phase, scaling production across the U.S. and Europe and expanding our team of engineers, scientists, and innovators.

Apply now to join our team and be part of something bigger than yourself — where collaboration, creativity, and purpose come together to build the technologies that will define the next century.

At Lyten, we are building the future of energy through breakthrough battery technology and advanced manufacturing. As our production operations at Lyten Poland continue to grow, we are looking for a Shift Supervisor to lead our production team and drive operational excellence on the shopfloor.

This is a key leadership role for someone who combines strong manufacturing experience with a passion for safety, quality, people development, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for delivering the production plan during your shift while creating an environment where high performance and operational discipline thrive.

Your responsibilities

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead the production team and oversee daily operations on your shift, ensuring that safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are consistently achieved.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing production team while fostering a strong safety and quality culture.
  • Planning and prioritizing shift activities to ensure effective utilization of people, materials, and equipment.
  • Taking ownership of production plan execution and ensuring shift targets are achieved without compromising safety or quality.
  • Conducting regular shopfloor walks, safety observations, and risk assessments while promoting safe work practices.
  • Managing production line performance, operator allocation, and material availability throughout the shift.
  • Supervising Autonomous Maintenance activities and ensuring equipment remains in optimal operating condition.
  • Escalating equipment-related issues and coordinating with Maintenance and Production Engineering teams to minimize downtime.
  • Ensuring battery system assembly processes are completed according to defined quality and technical standards.
  • Driving timely completion of rework activities and ensuring no product remains idle awaiting corrective actions.
  • Monitoring and managing End-of-Line (EOL) testing activities to ensure products meet all quality requirements before release.
  • Driving OEE improvement initiatives and supporting Loss Elimination activities.
  • Leading shift handovers and ensuring accurate reporting of operational KPIs.
  • Monitoring process parameters and ensuring compliance with technological documentation and production standards.
  • Participating in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities using structured methodologies.
  • Maintaining 5S standards and housekeeping across the production area.
  • Identifying training needs, maintaining the team skills matrix, and supporting on-the-job training initiatives.
  • Promoting World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles and continuous improvement culture.
  • Ensuring accurate reporting of production, material consumption, scrap, and production order data in MES and ERP systems.
  • Collaborating closely with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Planning, Production Engineering, and other support functions.
  • Supporting the development of work instructions, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Performing additional duties assigned by management to support business growth and operational excellence.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations with a strong understanding of shopfloor processes.
  • Previous experience in a production leadership, team leader, senior operator, or supervisory role is highly desirable.
  • Secondary or vocational technical education required; a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
  • Readiness to work in a 4-shift continuous production system.
  • Strong leadership potential with the ability to motivate, develop, and engage teams.
  • Experience working in dynamic manufacturing environments; start-up or scale-up experience will be a strong asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong decision-making skills and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.

Preferred qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with MES and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of material flow, inventory accuracy, and production reporting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of traceability requirements across materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Ishikawa, 5 Why, PDCA, and 6W2H.
  • Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Autonomous Maintenance, CIL, 5S, and Visual Management practices.
  • Familiarity with TWI (Training Within Industry) methodology.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and operating procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and pneumatics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • English language skills at minimum B1 level.
  • Forklift license (UDT) will be considered an advantage.

What makes you successful in this role

  • You lead by example and create a culture of accountability.
  • You place safety and quality above short-term results.
  • You are highly organized, resilient, and results-oriented.
  • You communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • You remain calm and decisive under pressure.
  • You challenge the status quo and continuously look for improvement opportunities.
  • You are comfortable enforcing standards and making difficult decisions when required.
  • You enjoy developing people and helping teams reach their full potential.
  • You demonstrate integrity, ownership, and a strong growth mindset.

What we offer

  • Opportunity to join a fast-growing and innovative technology company shaping the future of energy.
  • A key leadership role with real impact on manufacturing performance and operational excellence.
  • Professional development, training, and career growth opportunities within an expanding organization.
  • International, collaborative, and purpose-driven work environment.
  • Modern production environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • MyBenefit cafeteria platform with the option to convert points into a MultiSport card.
  • SmartLunch meal benefit.
  • Extended private healthcare package with Lux Med.
  • Benefits available through the Company Social Benefits Fund (ZFŚS).
