Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 an hour

On-Site Location: 130 Calo Lane, Lake Ozark, MO 65049

Full-Time:

• Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts one week, 4 10-hour shifts the following week
  • Weekends: Every other weekend required

Calo is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our preadolescent and adolescent students with supporting high-quality nursing care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to a safe and positive environment for the students we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care following Calo standards and SOPs.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Triage and treat illnesses and injuries within scope of practice.
• Follow infection control protocols and respond to infectious diseases.
• Complete all documentation in BestNotes by end of shift.
• Perform waived testing, phlebotomy, and basic nursing procedures.
• Process physician orders and maintain student health compliance.
• Support and guide unlicensed nursing staff.
• Maintain healthy boundaries and positive relationships with students and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age 
• Ability to pass criminal background check 
• Free of communicable disease, other evidence of ill health, or a condition which adversely affects ability to care for or poses a threat to children 
• Experience – Psychiatric or residential nursing experience preferred.   
• Education – Current Missouri or compact state license (in good standing as an RN).  Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
