Your expertise extends to monthly report generation, supporting informed decision making. You contribute to Lam's financial accuracy and compliance.

## What you’ll do

  • Perform invoice matching and resolve blocked, unmatched, duplicate-risk, or aged items with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support timely payments and reconcile AP, GR/IR, and assigned clearing or accrual accounts.
  • Ensure AP activities comply with company policies, delegated authority, statutory requirements, and internal controls.

### Fixed Asset Accounting

  • Manage the fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, transfers, depreciation, master-data changes, disposals, and retirements.
  • Review capital expenditure support, monitor construction-in-progress and internal orders, and coordinate timely settlement.
  • Reconcile the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger and investigate unusual balances or movements.
  • Support physical verification, impairment or retirement reviews, reporting, controls, and audit requests.

### Lease Accounting

  • Maintain complete and accurate lease data for new leases, modifications, renewals, and terminations.
  • Prepare or review lease entries and reconciliations for right-of-use assets, lease liabilities, interest, depreciation or amortization, and remeasurements.
  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, Facilities, Treasury, and business owners to resolve data gaps and accounting issues.
  • Support lease disclosures, controls, and audit requirements.

### Period-End Close and Reconciliation

  • Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for assigned AP, fixed asset, lease, and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, depreciation, lease adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Analyze balances and period-over-period variances, resolve reconciling items, and ensure appropriate cutoff, completeness, and classification.
  • Maintain clear, traceable, and audit-ready close and SOX documentation.

### Accounting Process Improvement and Controls

  • Simplify, standardize, and automate AP, fixed asset, lease, reconciliation, and close processes.
  • Maintain procedures, process flows, control evidence, and review checkpoints.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions for recurring errors, bottlenecks, and control gaps.
  • Support finance transformation and system enhancements, including requirements, testing, data validation, implementation, and reporting improvements.
  • Support internal and external audits with timely, clear, and complete evidence and explanations.

## Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience in accounts payable, fixed assets, lease accounting, general ledger, and period-end close.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, SOX, reconciliations, and audit documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP system and strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills; experience with Concur, LeaseAccelerator, workflow, automation, or AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
