Overview
The Customer Solutions Center (CSC) enables Mastercard to develop innovative, scalable, and differentiated solutions that address the evolving needs of customers across Financial Institutions, Merchants, Fintechs, Governments, and Digital Partners.
As a Manager, Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted advisor to account management, product, and regional teams to identify growth opportunities, develop integrated value propositions, and drive execution of strategic initiatives. The role combines business strategy, solution design, program management, client engagement, and thought leadership to accelerate Mastercard's growth in East SEA markets (Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos).
You will play a critical role in shaping client strategies, developing go-to-market approaches, driving adoption of Mastercard products and services, and supporting high-impact initiatives across domestic payments, cross-border growth, acceptance expansion, commercial payments, digital partnerships, and network modernization programs.
The successful candidate will bring strong business acumen, payments expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into scalable, outcome-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Client Solutioning & Strategic Growth Initiatives
• Partner with Account Management, Product, and Services teams to identify customer pain points and develop compelling, data-driven value propositions.
• Support complex client engagements by designing integrated solutions leveraging Mastercard products, services, and partnerships.
• Develop strategic account plans, client narratives, and business cases to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Support key Financial Institution, Fintech, Merchant, and Digital Partner engagements across East SEA markets.
• Drive solution development for both existing customer opportunities and new market growth initiatives.
Program Management & Execution
• Lead and coordinate strategic projects from ideation through execution, ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders and functions.
• Track initiative performance, manage deliverables, identify risks, and provide structured leadership updates.
• Establish governance processes, reporting mechanisms, and execution frameworks to improve delivery effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and tracking tools to support decision-making for strategic focus areas.
Domestic Payments & Portfolio Optimization
• Support the development and execution of market strategies to drive consumer card activation, engagement, and spend growth.
• Analyse market trends, consumer behaviours, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
• Design and support initiatives aimed at increasing transaction activity, retention, and customer value.
• Collaborate with issuers and internal stakeholders to drive adoption of consumer payment solutions.
Acceptance & Network Modernization Initiatives
• Support go-to-market planning and stakeholder engagement for strategic acceptance and network modernization programs.
• Develop client-facing narratives, business cases, and engagement materials for market-wide initiatives.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive readiness, adoption, and execution of Mastercard strategic priorities.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment across account management, product, and technology teams.
Cross-Border & Regional Growth Programs
• Support cross-border growth initiatives through program coordination, performance tracking, and business analysis.
• Develop insights and recommendations to identify revenue growth opportunities and improve go-to-market effectiveness.
• Create scalable frameworks and best practices that can be replicated across markets.
• Partner with regional teams to drive execution of strategic cross-border priorities.
Thought Leadership & Knowledge Management
• Share market insights, case studies, best practices, and lessons learned with the broader CSC and East SEA teams.
• Contribute to the development of solution playbooks, reusable frameworks, and client engagement assets.
• Identify emerging trends, customer needs, and market opportunities to inform Mastercard strategy.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement across solutioning and go-to-market activities.

All About You
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in payments, banking, consulting, fintech, technology, or related industries.
• Experience in solutioning, product strategy, business development, consulting, program management, or client-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of card payments, acceptance, issuing, digital payments, cross-border payments, or broader financial services ecosystems.
• Ability to combine business, commercial, and technical considerations to develop customer-centric solutions.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes across matrix organizations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking capabilities.
• Experience developing presentations, business cases, executive communications, and client proposals.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Mastercard products, services, and payment ecosystem dynamics is a strong advantage.
• Experience working across East SEA markets is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Local Language are required.
