Description
@Home Therapy is growing and is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for per diem home health visits in the Elmhurst area.
This position is designed for a clinician who enjoys practical, hands-on therapy and wants the freedom to work in a flexible field-based environment.
Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients put their treatment goals into practice during real-life activities in their own homes.
You May Be Responsible For:
- Delivering treatment interventions according to the established plan of care.
- Helping patients improve performance with everyday activities.
- Reinforcing exercises, safety strategies, and therapeutic techniques.
- Supporting the use of adaptive tools and equipment.
- Providing feedback about patient progress to the supervising OT.
- Assisting with patient and caregiver education.
