Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
