Summary:
The Accounting Intern will gain experience and learn essential industry skills by assisting our team with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and other projects for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Help prepare invoice and expense reports
- Analyze financial data
- Perform research for budgeting and financial forecasting
- Check financial documents and journal entries for accuracy
Qualifications:
- Accounting and Finance students as well as students with another relevant concentration who have a strong interest in pursuing a public accounting career
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
- The ability to be discreet when handling sensitive financial information
- A willingness to learn
- Detail-oriented
- Analytical skills
Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit and use computers for extended periods of time
- Ability to provide own transportation for traveling to client assignments
- This position starts in January and ends in March
