Position: PSV (Pressure Safety Valve) Planner
Location: Onsite (Local Candidates Only)
Summary:
The PSV (Pressure Safety Valve) Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and
supporting maintenance and reliability activities for pressure safety valve programs and related asset
maintenance work. This role requires extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA, maintenance planning and
scheduling processes, work order management, regulatory compliance activities, and collaboration across
Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong
technical knowledge of pressure safety valves (PSVs), maintenance execution processes, and a
commitment to safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
Job Duties:
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
• Plan maintenance and reliability programs for assigned assets.
• Develop and maintain project, turnaround, outage, and maintenance schedules utilizing planning
software.
• Prioritize maintenance activities to support efficient execution, backlog management, and cost
control.
• Coordinate work order development and scheduling activities with Operations and Maintenance
teams.
• Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and long-range maintenance schedules.
• Manage work dispatching and manpower availability in coordination with supervisors and field
personnel.
• Schedule and support small- to medium-scale projects.
Work Order & Job Planning
• Create comprehensive job packages containing all relevant information required for execution.
• Ensure proper work order documentation is established, maintained, and completed.
• Identify material requirements and coordinate with vendors and Supply Chain personnel to
support execution readiness.
• Support execution planning by determining appropriate work methods and resource
requirements.
Systems & Technical Support
• Provide technical support for Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) modules.

• Utilize SAP S/4HANA for maintenance planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting activities.
• Support scheduling software configuration and implementation efforts where applicable.
• Assist users with planning and scheduling processes and system utilization.
Performance Monitoring & Compliance
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance planning and
execution.
• Generate reports on schedule compliance, maintenance performance, and regulatory
requirements.
• Analyze deviations, trends, and performance data using graphical reporting tools.
• Support maintenance and inspection regulatory compliance objectives.
Continuous Improvement
• Recommend improvements to planning, scheduling, and maintenance processes.
• Request revisions to procedures when operational improvements are identified.
• Assist in developing and updating maintenance procedures and work practices.
• Recommend and support training initiatives that improve workforce effectiveness and
performance.
• Assist with budget development activities as needed.
General Responsibilities
• Collaborate effectively with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Technicians, Vendors, and
Supply Chain personnel.
• Support business objectives through additional duties and special assignments as required.
Job Requirements:
Education
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or related education preferred.
Experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience utilizing SAP within oil and gas, pipeline, or
petrochemical facilities.
• Extensive experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution processes.
• Demonstrated experience planning PSV (Pressure Safety Valve) maintenance work.

• Experience supporting maintenance reliability programs and outage planning activities.
• Experience working within regulated industrial environments preferred.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
• Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA required.
• Thorough understanding of planning, scheduling, execution processes, procedures, and industry
best practices.
• Knowledge of pressure safety valves (PSVs) and associated maintenance requirements.
• Experience with Prometheus preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar project planning software preferred.
• Scheduling software development, configuration, or implementation experience is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of maintenance work involving scaffolding, painting, insulation, rigging and lifting
operations, heavy equipment, welding, fabrication, machining, and work estimation.
• Experience within PHMSA-regulated pipeline facilities preferred.
• Experience with gas compression and metering equipment preferred.

• Current TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card or ability to obtain and

Work Schedule
• Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Limited overtime may be required.
