Summary:
As a Data Migration Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the comprehensive planning and execution of data migration activities to guarantee that data is transferred accurately and completely. This role requires coordinating multiple teams to align on migration strategies, establishing controls to monitor progress, and proactively managing risks to ensure a seamless transition to the target system. The position demands continuous communication and collaboration across various stakeholders to maintain data integrity and support operational readiness throughout the migration process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Develop and implement migration plans that align with organizational goals and timelines.
- Monitor migration progress and quality, ensuring adherence to defined standards and controls.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team to enhance overall performance.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and resolving technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, PySpark.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with PySpark.
- Strong expertise in managing large-scale data migration projects using modern data analytics platforms.
- Ability to design and implement data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and risk management practices in data migration contexts.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
