NVIDIA pioneers computer graphics, gaming, AI, and accelerated computing. We are looking for an Applied AI Innovation Engineer to join our team and play an important role in developing innovative AI solutions. This position offers the opportunity to evaluate NVIDIA AI capabilities against real WWFO use cases and contribute to innovations that improve how teams work and make decisions. You will take ideas from proof of concept through pilot, collaborate with technical and business teams, and provide recommendations that help shape the Sales AI Applications roadmap!
What you’ll be doing:
Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to understand WWFO use cases and explore potential AI solutions.
Develop and test prototypes that demonstrate how NVIDIA AI capabilities can improve business and user workflows.
Establish evaluation criteria, quality metrics, success measures, and test plans for proofs of concept and pilots.
Perform detailed analyses of technical performance, user experience, adoption potential, and business value.
Use quantitative data, user feedback, and technical findings to find opportunities, limitations, tradeoffs, and risks.
Document findings and communicate recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical team members.
Provide evidence-based continue / park / drop recommendations aligned with business priorities and translate evaluation patterns into roadmap insights.
Explore generative AI, agentic workflows, retrieval systems, and other NVIDIA technologies that could support WWFO use cases.
What we need to see:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field is encouraged.
2+ years of experience in software engineering, AI or machine learning engineering, solutions engineering, data engineering, technical consulting, or a related area.
Experience building, testing, or evaluating AI, machine learning, or software prototypes.
Familiarity with generative AI, APIs, cloud platforms, data workflows, and modern application development.
Experience using data, experiments, testing, or user feedback to evaluate technical solutions and make recommendations.
An analytical and problem-solving approach to assessing solutions, comparing tradeoffs, and making evidence-based recommendations.
Ability to translate business problems into technical approaches and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to collaborate across teams and organize multiple evaluation efforts with different priorities.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience evaluating AI assistants, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, or AI productivity tools.
Experience with Python or another programming language, AI frameworks, machine learning frameworks, or APIs. Familiarity with prompt design, evaluation methods, model performance, responsible AI, data privacy, or AI governance.
Experience designing experiments, pilots, benchmarks, or other structured approaches for comparing technical solutions.
Experience working with enterprise users to understand workflows, identify AI opportunities, and present findings or arguments to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Exposure to NVIDIA AI platforms, accelerated computing, or enterprise AI technologies.
