In this role, you will be working as a Mechanical Engineer for a client that works in the power distribution industry. This position will be responsible for design and coordination of low and medium- voltage switchgear, power distribution equipment and control enclosures.
This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
Pay; 135,000/Yr. depending on experience
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience preferably with switchgear or electrical enclosure design
- Coordinate EPLAN layouts with 3D models to ensure electrical intent is mechanically feasible.
- Evaluate design for manufacturability, installation access and maintenance clearance
- Create models in Solidworks from electrical schematics and mechanical requirements
- Experience with sheet metal and enclosure- based designs
