As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will provide unarmed patrol services at a commercial real estate location, conducting routine rounds, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant and visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, observe and report unusual conditions or activities, and maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, supporting property rules, and communicating professionally with tenants, visitors, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
