Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- The operational coordination would primarily involve supporting the day-to-day execution of Cordell Institute and CERL programs and activities. This includes maintaining program calendars and timelines, scheduling meetings, coordinating with speakers and participants, preparing program materials, tracking RSVPs, communicating with internal and external partners, maintaining program files and contact lists, and coordinating with WashU departments and outside vendors as needed.
- Coordinate logistics arrangements of major domestic and international conferences and speaking engagements including handling all travel arrangements and accommodations, catering arrangements for banquets and luncheons, logistics for speaking presentations, preparation of meeting schedules, crowd control and prompt processing of reimbursement.
- May oversee work of student workers, as well as assist staff in research projects.
- Conduct independent research and/or writing projects for the Cordell Institute and CERL.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
