Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Manager, Enterprise Quality Programs & Data, you will participate in all aspects of program development, implementation, and sustainment for quality outcomes as identified by external sources (e.g., Leapfrog), providing leadership and oversight of data collection, analysis, and trends.
Every day you will manage quality specialist and data coordinator staff, coordinate and manage external quality programs and project plans, and collaborate with leadership and external agencies to understand, develop, and implement program requirements. You will create comprehensive project plans and timelines to achieve established program goals.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a deep understanding of external quality standards, strong leadership skills in data management and quality program oversight, and a proven ability to analyze data, trend performance, and implement strategic quality improvement initiatives across the enterprise.
- Utilizes diverse analytical and evaluation methods to consult with leadership, supporting the mission and strategic plan, and coordinating program development to drive improved scores.
- Establishes and maintains systems and procedures for data organization, ensuring accurate and timely submission to mandatory databases like TJC, CMS, and Leapfrog.
- Analyzes statistical data, guides review methodology, and uses reporting tools to evaluate organizational performance, creating graphical displays and ensuring data validity and reliability.
- Identifies improvement opportunities through data analysis, trend identification, and validation, referring programmatic issues and recommendations to leadership, and generating pragmatic reports for program sustainment.
- Partners with physicians, clinical service directors, and medical directors to evaluate clinical processes, outcomes, resource utilization, financial impact, risk management, and customer satisfaction.
- Manages multiple databases, collaborating with Decision Support and other teams to maintain data source integrity.
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of experience in program coordination within healthcare.
- Demonstrated success in using data to improve the overall quality of services in the inpatient and ambulatory setting.
- Three years of experience creating databases, spreadsheets, and graphical display of data requiredincluding control charts.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
