As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and the agile, reliable approach that defines Allied Universal.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail and office location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for Allied Universal leadership and site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
