Job Description:
The Junior Business Operations Analyst will support day-to-day business operations by assisting with reporting, coordination, documentation, meeting organization, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable using Microsoft 365 tools, and able to work with multiple teams to ensure smooth execution of operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing, maintaining, and publishing business reports, dashboards, trackers, and operational summaries.
Use Microsoft 365 tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to create documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and reports.
Coordinate with various internal teams to gather inputs, follow up on action items, and ensure timely completion of operational tasks.
Support the planning and organization of meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, meeting notes, action item tracking, and follow-ups.
Help organize internal events, workshops, team meetings, leadership sessions, and employee engagement activities.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, trackers, and status updates for ongoing initiatives.
Assist in consolidating data and preparing insights for leadership reviews and team discussions.
Support communication and coordination across business, technology, HR, finance, administration, and other support functions as needed.
Identify basic process gaps and suggest simple improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Perform other business operations and administrative coordination activities as assigned.
Required Skills
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, especially Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Basic proficiency in Excel for creating trackers, maintaining data, preparing simple reports, and using formulas or basic analysis features.
Ability to create professional presentations and documents using PowerPoint and Word.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills with the ability to work across multiple teams.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Basic analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Professional attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Operations, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in business operations, administration, coordination, reporting, or a similar support role.
Internship or project experience involving reporting, team coordination, event support, or business documentation will be an added advantage.
